The Centre offers a broad range of programs to suit the therapeutic needs of its clients. As recognized healthcare professionals, the music therapists assess, develop, and implement treatment plans and evaluate the outcomes.

Amazing Music Makers

Weekly musical meetings for individuals with polio or post-polio syndrome. Sessions promote creativity, and interaction self-expression through singing, songwriting, listening to music, playing instruments, and discussion.

Voices of All Ages - REGISTER NOW FOR SPRING SESSION!

A choir for everyone who loves to sing and make music, regardless of age or ability.  The open-invitation group is held on Wednesdays 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.   Come join in, make friends, and have fun. CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFORMATION.

Lisa Felder Fund for Autism

A program designed to help improve the lives of those affected by autism. With a focus on creative expression, social skills, increased attention span, impulse control, and verbal communication.  The program is in memory of Lisa Felder and celebrates what she loved most in life - her children and music.

Friends of Music

For adults with physical disabilities, this music therapy group works towards both individual and group goals through the creative process of making music and performing.

Together in Music

In collaboration with Down Syndrome Association of Toronto, the Centre provides programming for both adults and children with Down Syndrome.  Communication, self-esteem and social and motor skills are all improved through the use of music.  Therapists are also able to help with emotional issues and promote learning and independence.

Guided Imagery in Music

As a form of music psychotherapy, this program helps individuals to explore consciousness through imagery experiences evoked by listening to specially designed recorded Western classical music programs.
